Q.
Who attends the Awakening with Gurpreet satsangs/retreats?
A.

People from various cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities attend satsangs with Gurpreet. Many have been seekers for years, others are versed in various spiritual practices, some were not seeking at all but came to know of Gurpreet and felt something stir in them. In any case, people that attend retreats on a regular basis are answering an inner pull, something higher than themselves.

line
Q.
Can anyone attend the satsangs?
A.

Absolutely everyone is welcome to attend.

line
Q.
How many satsangs should I attend?
A.

Attending satsangs with Gurpreet is an ongoing process of growing awareness. As awareness increases we more clearly see the false concepts and beliefs that we have created about ourselves and the world we live in. During satsangs Gurpreet individually guides each person to see the misperceptions of the egoic mind. Through this seeing, the false self diminishes and the true self becomes known. Gurpreet encourages everyone to attend as many satsangs as possible. How many you attend depends on your own willingness and commitment to waking up.

line
Q.
What do you do there, how does it work?
A.

During the satsangs attendees may be invited to sit in connection with Gurpreet. During connections Gurpreet guides each person individually based on the open willingness and  questions that each person asks. This is done in a group setting as each person attending the satsangs benefits greatly by being in the presence of each others connections.

line
Q.
Can I meet with Gurpreet privately to have my connection?
A.

Satsangs are done in an open forum because everyone benefits greatly from being in the presence of each other's connections. In between satsangs Gurpreet rests so she is not able to see people privately.

line
Q.
Am I guaranteed a connection with Gurpreet at each retreat?
A.

No, there are absolutely no guarantees that any one person will recieve a connection with Gurpreet at any retreat. Gurpreet invites each person for a connection as she sees the readiness and encourages us to take our focus off of having an individual connection to allow ourselves to open so that everyone's connection is our own.

line
Q.
Why does Gurpreet look in our eyes?
A.

People often question why Gurpreet looks in our eyes and what she is ‘doing’, to which she says, “I'm not only looking in your eyes, I'm just Being with you in a wholesome way. It's not that I'm focusing on you - I'm Being with you. When I'm Being with you I have nothing to do with your person. I'm just inviting you in every way to what is other than the person. Not in a doing way, it is like that. There is no communication, there is simple Beingness. But that simple Beingness is touching you, helping you, it's inviting you. Because you also have the same pull in you.”
